2007 Formula One Season
Just a few hours away from the beginning of new Formula 1′07 Season …. go go go ….
The 2007 Formula One season is the 58th FIA Formula One World Championship season. Scheduled to begin on 18 March, it will end on 21 October, after seventeen Grands Prix.
The 2007 season is significant in that it will herald the end of the existing Concorde Agreement between the existing Formula One constructors and Bernie Ecclestone. In particular, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Honda (collectively the Grand Prix Manufacturers’ Association) have a number of outstanding disagreements with the FIA and Ecclestone, on financial and technical grounds. They had threatened even to boycott Formula One from the 2008 season onwards and instead stage their own rival series, before signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the 2006 Spanish Grand Prix.
The 2007 Australian Grand Prix will be the first time since the 1986 Spanish Grand Prix that there would be a Formula One field without a Cosworth engine, as well as the first Grand Prix to have a black driver in the field, Lewis Hamilton (expect him to see there in top filed ….. a bright and future star)
With the announcement on 26 February that Honda F1 will run with a “new” Earth livery on their RA107 car, it will also be the first time since 1968, when sponsorship in the sport became widespread, that a team may run sponsor-free for an entire season.

My top drivers for this season:
- Lewis Hamilton (Mclaren-Mercedes) - started liking him from his style in GP2
- Alex Wurz (Williams-Toyota) - hope he can bring more to team than Webber (never liked him, neither expected from him) did, as he is exceptionally good and talented pilot and work out nicely with Nico
- Robert Kubica (BMW-Sauber) - you saw what this young guy can do from his ‘06 races
The rest are there of course, and this is not my list of top scoring drivers but my personal favourites for this year.
I want to definitely see this year Williams climbing back on charts, and hope with Toyota engine they will be able to raise them.
Good luck to all the teams and the drivers …

Almost all the drivers have switched teams! None, except maybe Ralf Schumacher and a couple more are in the same teams as 2 years ago. And there is no more Montoya. Who’s going to be the most aggressive… Raikkonen? I’d say him or Alonso in the Mercedes. I’d bet on Alonso in the Mercedes to win.
I’m more of a Le Mans or American Le Mans fan, even some Rally racing, but this F1 season could be good to watch if there is finally going to be some real competition from Toyota and Honda.

Hi,
We are the owner of e-f1.com, a fan F1 site that is still under developed. We are now targeting the Indian market. As we need help to appeal to this unknown market for us, I thought I’d send you a mail to see if you had an interest.
Our model is quite simple. We want to build traffic and then sell the site (and it’s prime URL).
If you wanted to join/help, you could be part of the stakeholders.
Best,
Phil
